Plateau Of Dandakaranya This is in the south direction of Chhattisgarh. It is the most culturally prosperous region of Chhattisgarh. The area of this area is 39060 square kilometres. It is 28.91 per cent of the total area of Chhattisgarh. The plateau extends to Kanker, Kondagaon, Bastar, Bijapur, Narayanpur, Sukma District and Mohla-Manpur Tehsil. It is formed from Dharwad rocks.
